A new community centre, proposed on the site of the former unsuitable one from the '80s, has the ambition to be a modern and liveable hub of community, cultural and sports activities, which the local citizens could be proud of and happy to visit.

In the aspect of an urban design, the project brings a new connection between the main square and the cinema building across the green yard. The proposed object is created from two subtle wings despite one massive volume culminated on the street line. It also respects the traditional urban morphology of long houses in the shape of L. Architecture solution is characterized by simple formations and materials. Slight details on the façade avoid an austere look. A large translucent window emphasizes maximal accessibility. The main structure is made from reinforced concrete.

The multifunctional space of the great hall is placed on the ground floor and the 1st floor of the courtyard wing. It is designed for organizing concerts, celebrations, or lectures. The room has a proper foyer with a garderobe. Another hall is placed on the 1st floor with an exclusive view of the square, and it can serve as a clubhouse of local associations or for a smaller representative event. A restaurant area is divided into two stories, and it offers a pleasant sitting in the touch of the street or the courtyard. By reusing some of the elements from the former cultural centre, like the lighting or the sofas, we gain a symbolic continuity.

The main street in front of the object is getting a new character. The trees and the pavement create higher residential quality.
